Aside from that, no personal data you provide will be sold, rented or provided to any third party. Our site is secure to the best of our abilities. We do our utmost to keep our site safe from unauthorized access, and to minimize the number of people who have access to sensitive information. We cannot absolutely guarantee the security of our site, and cannot be responsible for breaches of security. The database is hosted on a privately owned server that is professionally hosted in a class A data center that is owned and operated by Earthnet. The email address you provide upon registration may be used to contact you for administrative purposes (i.e. administrative notices like a notification of planned down time for a system upgrade or announcement of changes to the web site which affect your account), but will not be used for any other communications from Jobfiler or any other company. If you are not interested in receiving any communications, ever, from Jobfiler and are not concerned with your ability to retrieve your password in the event that you forget it, you are encouraged to provide a dummy email address during registration. In doing so, you release Jobfiler from any and all liability arising from our inability to contact you regarding system downtime or administrative changes to your account. When you log in to Jobfiler's job seeker or employer interface, the site does set a temporary cookie to manage your session while you are online. Once a session is over, the login cookies are no longer used. We use non-persistent cookies that automatically expire and are deleted after you exit your browser. These cookies are technically necessary for using our service, and cannot be disabled. The only pop-up window on the web site is the password retrieval function. If you use a pop-up blocker and need to retrieve your password, we recommend disabling the blocker temporarily while you use the lookup function. Otherwise, this may impede your ability to retrieve your password hint online. Our site does contain links to other web sites to which we have no affiliation and over which we have no control. It is your responsibility to review the privacy policies of these web sites individually before you decide to do business with them. We do generically log visits to the web site for the purpose of tracking loads and page popularity, and may provide aggregate visit and demographic information to advertisers and/or potential business partners. The use of this web site is entirely optional. If you would like to terminate
your account and have all records associated with the account either exported
for your records or deleted from the database, please contact
us. We require sufficient proof of identity before acting on any database
requests, and a small administrative fee of US $5.00 is assessed for
